What sort of creatures does the future behold? Dolf, also known as macouno, appears to have the answer.
A 3D artist and animator by training (in the Netherlands and Norway), Dolf came to discover the intriguing nature of the digital domain, which allows him the freedom from physical constrains, and to explore creating a world of his own. In the midst of these explorations,
Entoforms, a kind of fossils from the future, was born. Personally, I would liken him to JRR Tolkien’s creation of history, geography, creatures and language in his creation of the Lord of the Ring series, because what Dolf is doing is through the use of varied configurations of alphabets from the English Language, create a new DNA per fossil form. There is an existing catalog of Entoforms but feel free to add to the collection with an Entoform made up of the letters of your name (this can be done through Dolf’s
crowdfunding campaign)! In fact, here’s one whose DNA is ‘Koobly’:
Thanks to Dolf for being so spontaneous in creating this for us. What an ingenious idea indeed.
To learn more about Entoforms and to find out which insect family they belong to, check up on the
catalog. Hurry to get your own because his campaign lasts for only 2 more weeks and after which, getting your own Entoform means paying possibly 4 times as much.
